The Preservation Pillar

The Time Capsule

Why a slab is the best home for a card you love.

Paper decays. Chrome oxidizes. Corners soften. It is a fact of nature that physical objects degrade over time. As collectors, our sworn duty is to protect the history we own.

Sonic Welding

The primary benefit of a professional slab isn't the number on the label—it's the sonic weld. The two halves of the plastic case are fused together using high-frequency vibrations, creating a near-hermetic seal.

This protects your card from:

Humidity
Oils
Pests

The Binder Disaster

We all cherish our childhood binders. But let's be honest: they are card graveyards. Ring indentations, sliding pages, and open tops allow dust and moisture to slowly destroy the cards inside.

A Toploader is better, but it's open at the top. Dust gets in. The card can slide out.

Future Proofing

When you buy a PSA 8 today, you are locking in that condition forever. In 20 years, when you pass your collection down to your kids, that card will look exactly the same as it does today.

"We don't really own these cards. We are just taking care of them for the next generation."
